Today we hosted our very first ice cream fundraiser at BHS Graduation. Huge thank you to JP Licks Brookline for the generous ice cream donation and BHS Tappan Green for making this fundraiser possible!

In collaboration with the BHS Chess Club we hosted a Chess Tournament Fundraiser at BHS. Huge thanks to the 30+ people who participated and congratulations Eli and Jamie on your win!
Week of December 19, 2022
Throughout the entire week, our Fundraising Committee organized a raffle and candy cane fundraiser at Brookline High School. With the generous support of BHS students and staff, we sold over 100 candy canes. The raffle winner of the $10 Tappan Green Gift card will be announced by the 25th. Thank you to everyone who participated in the fundraiser and helped raise money for LV!

Today we participated in Lawrence's Annual Family Fun Night! We had a mini stand accepting donations for our organization along with a basket of candy for the students. It was a pleasure to be back at our favorite elementary school again. Thank you Lawrence for having us!

Another cooking fundraiser led by Gabriel, one of our teachers! Learning to make his original recipe of Miso Salmon with Rice and Salad was super fun for everyone, we'll be doing this again next year ^^

Our first cooking fundraiser! Shaanti, a student from the Brookline High Schol, taught everyone how to cook her favorite version of Pest Pasta in which the pesto was made from scratch! It was our first go at trying an online cooking fundraiser but we'd say it was a success- everyone was able to follow along easily and create a delicious final dish. We'll be having one more cooking fundraiser when another member teaches how to cook Miso Salmon with Rice and Salad, so keep posted for that!

Language Virtual hosted our first fundraiser in front of Trader Joe's today! Our fundraising committee, Samme and Summer Ash, put together an amazing event that included a raffle and baked goods. Our raffle had items donated from Brookline Grooming and Pet Supplies, No Bones About It, Boss Dog, Otto's Pizza, and Eureka. Our baked goods were made by one of our teachers, Naomi Durbin, who made amazing cookies and cake pops. Big shout out to Daphna, Naomi, Samme, and Summer for helping make this event possible!
